• What is the location of the South Of Heaven festival?

  The South Of Heaven festival is centrally located in the Euregion, in the south of the Netherlands, in the city of Maastricht:

• Is there an age restriction for attendees?

  All individuals aged 12 and older are invited to join our festival, while those under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult.

• What is the festival’s refund policy in case of cancellation?

  We do not refund tickets, but in case you can’t make it we advise you to sell your tickets via Ticketswap.

  If we would have to reschedule the festival for whatever reason, and the new dates don’t suit your agenda, we do refund tickets.

• Is the festival site accessible to individuals with disabilities?

  We organize South Of Heaven festival for every metalhead and the festival will of course be accessible for disabled people and wheelchair users.

• Can I buy tickets at the festival gate?

  Didn’t snag a ticket online in time? No worries! Just march your heavy boots to the terrain and grab your ticket at the entrance. It’s first-come, first-served, so get there early and claim your rightful place in the pit.

• Are there VIP or special ticket options available?

• What are the ticket prices?

  Early-bird weekend tickets are priced at €125. After the early-bird period, the weekend tickets will cost €145, ex €5,- service fee.

• How can I purchase tickets?

Parking and Transportation

• Are there any night trains to Maastricht from major cities?

  There are no direct night trains to Maastricht, but there are evening and late-night train services available from cities like Amsterdam, Brussels, and Cologne. Be sure to check the schedules for the latest departure times.

• What’s the train connection like from Cologne, Germany to Maastricht?

  If you’re coming from Cologne, Germany, you can take an ICE (InterCity Express) train to Aachen Hauptbahnhof (Aachen Hbf), and from there, transfer to a train to Maastricht. The total travel time is approximately 2.5 to 3 hours.

• How do I get to Maastricht from Brussels, Belgium?

  To travel from Brussels to Maastricht by train, you can take a Thalys or Intercity train from Brussels Midi (Zuid) Station to Liège-Guillemins Station, and then transfer to another Intercity train bound for Maastricht. The entire journey takes around 2 to 2.5 hours, including the transfer.

• Are there public transportation options to get to the festival?

  Yes, Maastricht’s Central Station is well connected to many cities in The Netherlands. Before you plan your trip make sure to check the most actual train information. You can do so via ns.nl

• Is there parking available at the festival?

  There’s no parking directly at the festival terrain, but you can find all parking options here (in Dutch) and here (in English).

Accommodations

• Does the festival have a camping / sleeping facilities?

  The festival itself does not offer accommodations or camping options. However, in the vicinity of the festival, you’ll find numerous hotels, bed and breakfasts (BnBs), hostels, and Airbnb listings. If you prefer a more outdoorsy experience, there are also some excellent campsites located just a short distance outside the city.

• Does the festival offer any hotel recommendations?

  Yes! We’ve partnered with several hotels to offer you a 15% discount when you use the code SOH2025 at booking.

  Once the final line-up is announced you’ll find a complete line-up of all bands including background information and links to their music. Moreover, you’ll find the timetable directly on our website.

Food and Beverages

• Can I bring my own food and drinks?

  At South Of Heaven festival it is not allowed to bring your own drinks and food. We provide a wide variety of food on the festival and offer customer-friendly prices regarding drinks and food.

• Are there vegan or vegetarian options?

  Yes offcourse 😉

Lockers

• Is there a possibility to store personal items at the festival?

  Yes, you can reserve a locker upfront a few weeks before the festival starts. On the festival itself this is also possible!

Refund and Cancellation Policy

Weather and Attire

• What is the expected weather during the festival?

  Of course we are hoping for good weather, but there’s never a guarantee. Make sure to always be prepared for a little rain.

Merchandise and Vendors

• Merchandise

  During South of Heaven festival merchandise from a variety of artists will be available.

• Can I use credit cards or cash at the merchandise booths?

  At the merch stand, we only accept card payments.
  No coins, no bills — we’re 100% CASHLESS ONLY.
  So bring your plastic or digital fire and get your gear like a true metal warrior.
  Leave the paper for burning stages, not for buying shirts! 🔥🖤

Security and Safety

• Privacy

  • During the festival photos & video recordings will be made for promotional purposes. Everyone who visits our event agrees to this.
  • If you do not comply with our house rules, you will be irrevocably denied access to the festival grounds and will be banned locally for one or more years.

• Liability

  • The organization and/or its employees cannot be held liable for any injury and/or material or immaterial damage.
  • More than 85 dB(a) of noise may be produced at the festival. | The organization accepts no liability for any adverse effects this may have on your hearing.
  • Your stay on the festival grounds is therefore entirely at your own risk.
  • Give your ears a rest in time by visiting a quiet room from time to time.

• Weapons

  • It is prohibited to possess weapons or other objects that can be used as weapons.
  • If weapons are found to be in your possession, you will be turned over to the police.
  • If a crime is committed, you will be arrested and turned over to the police.

• Standards – Values

  • At South Of Heaven Festival, all daily social norms and values apply.
  • Threatening with and using violence, making discriminatory remarks by word and/or gesture, sexual intimidation, urinating in public, throwing beer and throwing mud will not be tolerated.
  • Upon discovery of contamination and/or destruction of materials and grounds, you will be denied access to the festival grounds and will be turned over to the police.
  • Also, any damages will be recovered from you.

• Alcohol/Drugs

  • Alcohol will not be served to persons under the age of 18.
  • Persons demonstrably under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs may be refused entry to the festival. The person demonstrably under the influence cannot claim any reimbursement of (day) tickets and/or travel expenses.
  • Drugs are prohibited at South Of Heaven Festival.
    When found in possession of up to 5 grams of soft drugs, you have the possibility to hand them over. If you refuse to give up these soft drugs or if you have more than 5 grams in your possession, you will be handed over to the police.
  • Upon discovery of use, possession of hard drugs and/or dealing in soft/hard drugs, you will be detained without mercy and turned over to the police.

• Forbidden

  • It’s not allowed to bring cool boxes, complete lunch boxes, etc. inside the festival.
  • It is not allowed to bring drinks inside and/or outside.
  • It is not allowed to bring folding chairs and/or other (seating) furniture to the festival site, wheelchairs are not included.
  • Persons dressed in soccer shirts and/or clothing belonging to certain groups will be refused entry.
  • Film, video and professional photographic equipment (cameras with large interchangeable lenses) are not allowed. (Cell phones with photo/video capabilities and normal (digital) cameras without detachable lenses are allowed on the festival grounds).
  • Pets are not allowed (for their own good).
  • Distribution of leaflets, flyers and/or trading in goods on the festival and in the immediate vicinity is prohibited, unless written permission has been granted by the organization.

• Search

  To protect your own and others’ safety, you may be searched. If you do not cooperate, you may be denied access to the festival.

• Legitimation

  All festival visitors must identify themselves when explicitly asked for.

• Dutch law

  Dutch legislation is in force at South Of Heaven Festival.

• Instructions

  The instructions of the staff and authorized persons, related to the house rules, on the festival grounds and in the immediate vicinity must be strictly followed at all times.
