The South Of Heaven festival is centrally located in the Euregion, in the south of the Netherlands, in the city of Maastricht:

- Can I buy tickets at the festival gate?
Didn’t snag a ticket online in time? No worries! Just march your heavy boots to the terrain and grab your ticket at the entrance. It’s first-come, first-served, so get there early and claim your rightful place in the pit.
- Are there VIP or special ticket options available?
South of Heaven doesn’t sell VIP tickets. We also don’t have a special VIP area at our festival, as all our visitors are equally important.
- What are the ticket prices?
We have one, two and also three-day tickets available. All prices are inclusive 5,-service fee.
Three-day ticket: 225,-
Two-day ticket: 150,-One-day pass Friday: 75,-
One-day pass Saturday: 85,-
One-day pass Sunday: 85,-We offer reduced price tickets for teens from the age of 12 up and including the age of 17.
Kids up and including the age of 11 have free access: they can get a free ticket.

Parking and Transportation
- Are there any night trains to Maastricht from major cities?
There are no direct night trains to Maastricht, but there are evening and late-night train services available from cities like Amsterdam, Brussels, and Cologne. Be sure to check the schedules for the latest departure times.
- What’s the train connection like from Cologne, Germany to Maastricht?
If you’re coming from Cologne, Germany, you can take an ICE (InterCity Express) train to Aachen Hauptbahnhof (Aachen Hbf), and from there, transfer to a train to Maastricht. The total travel time is approximately 2.5 to 3 hours.
- How do I get to Maastricht from Brussels, Belgium?
To travel from Brussels to Maastricht by train, you can take a Thalys or Intercity train from Brussels Midi (Zuid) Station to Liège-Guillemins Station, and then transfer to another Intercity train bound for Maastricht. The entire journey takes around 2 to 2.5 hours, including the transfer.
- Are there public transportation options to get to the festival?
Yes, Maastricht’s Central Station is well connected to many cities in The Netherlands. Before you plan your trip make sure to check the most actual train information. You can do so via ns.nl
From Maastricht central station there are also several city busses that go towards Frontenpark.
You can take bus 2,1, 5, 20a, 62, 12, 6 or 4 .

- Does the festival have a camping / sleeping facilities?
South of Heaven doesn’t have a festivalcamping. However, there are numerous accomodations its surrounding area. There are nearby campings, hotels, hostels and B&B’s. For more information, check the section ‘Accomodations’ at our website.

At South Of Heaven festival it is not allowed to bring your own drinks and food. We provide a wide variety of food on the festival and offer customer-friendly prices regarding drinks and food.
- Are there vegan or vegetarian options?
We have several foodstands with a variaty of products, among those also veggie and vegan options.
Lockers
- Is there a possibility to store personal items at the festival?
Yes, you can reserve a locker upfront a few weeks before the festival starts. On the festival itself this is also possible!

At the merch stand, we only accept card payments.
No coins, no bills — we’re 100% CASHLESS ONLY.
So bring your plastic or digital fire and get your gear like a true metal warrior.

Security and Safety
- Privacy
- During the festival photos & video recordings will be made for promotional purposes. Everyone who visits our event agrees to this.
- If you do not comply with our house rules, you will be irrevocably denied access to the festival grounds and will be banned locally for one or more years.
- Liability
- The organization and/or its employees cannot be held liable for any injury and/or material or immaterial damage.
- More than 85 dB(a) of noise may be produced at the festival. | The organization accepts no liability for any adverse effects this may have on your hearing.
- Your stay on the festival grounds is therefore entirely at your own risk.
- Give your ears a rest in time by visiting a quiet room from time to time.
- Weapons
- It is prohibited to possess weapons or other objects that can be used as weapons.
- If weapons are found to be in your possession, you will be turned over to the police.
- If a crime is committed, you will be arrested and turned over to the police.
- Standards – Values
- At South Of Heaven Festival, all daily social norms and values apply.
- Threatening with and using violence, making discriminatory remarks by word and/or gesture, sexual intimidation, urinating in public, throwing beer and throwing mud will not be tolerated.
- Upon discovery of contamination and/or destruction of materials and grounds, you will be denied access to the festival grounds and will be turned over to the police.
- Also, any damages will be recovered from you.
- Alcohol/Drugs
- Alcohol will not be served to persons under the age of 18.
- Persons demonstrably under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs may be refused entry to the festival. The person demonstrably under the influence cannot claim any reimbursement of (day) tickets and/or travel expenses.
- Drugs are prohibited at South Of Heaven Festival.
When found in possession of up to 5 grams of soft drugs, you have the possibility to hand them over. If you refuse to give up these soft drugs or if you have more than 5 grams in your possession, you will be handed over to the police. - Upon discovery of use, possession of hard drugs and/or dealing in soft/hard drugs, you will be detained without mercy and turned over to the police.

We do not tolerate
- Violence, other than moshpits
- Moshing while directly target punches, kicks etc at someone to do harm
- Racist, seksist or homophobic symbols and behavior
- Harrassment of visitors, musicians or crew, in any kind of form
- Vandalism
- Selling drugs
- Search
To protect your own and others’ safety, you may be searched. If you do not cooperate, you may be denied access to the festival.
- Legitimation
All festival visitors must identify themselves when explicitly asked for.
- Dutch law
Dutch legislation is in force at South Of Heaven Festival.
- Instructions
The instructions of the staff and authorized persons, related to the house rules, on the festival grounds and in the immediate vicinity must be strictly followed at all times.
