I AM MORBID

I AM MORBID 30th Anniversary Domination show

With all-star band I Am Morbid, South Of Heaven once again brings in a metal pioneer/legend/veteran. I Am Morbid – consisting of frontman David Vincent (vocals and bass) and drummer Pete Sandoval of Morbid Angel; guitarist Bill Hudson (Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Circle II Circle) and guitarist Kelly McLauchlin (Pessimist, Possessed) – plays live only classics from Morbid Angel’s milestones ‘Altars of Madness’ (1989), ‘Blessed Are The Sick’ (1991), ‘Covenant’ (1993) and ‘Domination’ (1995). The goal: to revive the US death metal of the 90s. I Am Morbid does this so well that classics like ‘Day Of Suffering’, ‘Where The Slime Live’, ‘Rapture’, ‘Immortal Rites’, ‘Chapel Of Ghouls’, ‘Suffocation’, ‘Fall From Grace’, ‘World Of Shit’ and ‘Dominate’ function as a real time machine and take you back to the late eighties/early nineties when metal evolved in speed, intensity, complexity, occultism, nihilism and total darkness. Because of its thirtieth anniversary, the album ‘Dominition’ will be played in its entirety. We roll out the pitch-black carpet for I Am Morbid: welcome to South Of Hell…
